FORREST

“My name is Forrest and I am a painter, sculptor, and woodworker.  My involvement in this show was an experience I am very proud of.  As an artist, I discipline myself to know the importance of traditional ways of creating visual art.  My role in this show, however, was to let myself express and explore.  Jenn tailored a harness to my personality and sexuality so that I may expose a very personal and sensitive part of me to the viewer.  Ever since I was a young boy I have admired high fashion models. The job to make a viewer desire their stance was so fascinating to me.  However, I hated the idea of being ridiculed for potentially taking up

stereotypes associated with "the model".

Tools are an extension of the body.  Their purpose is to overcome our boundaries as people. I don't believe that this show is about the harness but how the harness exposes something private and sacred.”
